You can donate to the following projects or you can propose a project you wish to sponsor for us to implement, but such project should be in line with the programs of Public Opinions. In addition we have specific needs for in-kind donations.

Public Awareness Session 600 Dollars
At only 600 Dollars, you can sponsor a “PUBLIC AWARENESS SESSION.” These sessions are intended to build capacity of the communities on
- human rights,
- democracy and governance,
- justice,
- law and order,
- Peace and security,
- gender issues,
- family management, etc.
The session will enable communities to debate issues of concern to them; submit their views, opinions and complaints to Public Opinions. They are also intended to involve grassroots communities in the decision making process, programs implementation and an opinions seeking forum.
This will help to build a sphere of civilized politics more than ever before, enfranchising and empowering the people and building a robust and vibrant grassroots based democratic culture.
Public Dialogue for Local Government and Opinion Leaders 1800 Dollars
At only 1800 Dollars, you can sponsor a public Dialogue for Local Government and Opinions Leaders in one District. This will help to strengthen the democratization process in Uganda and to promote a vibrant culture of intellectualism and free political debates within the local and Opinion leaders. Our plan is to organize at least one dialogue per month in a district.
Political Parties Interaction Conference (PPICO)
15800 Dollars
At only 15800 Dollars, you can sponsor the Political Parties Interaction Conference (PPICO). Only members of the National Executive Committees of the Registered Political Parties in Uganda shall participate and it will be organized and held annually. This principally is intended to bring together the key political players in Uganda’s Political arena and to
- promote the spirit of togetherness and non hatred,
- protect the culture of constitutionalism and the rule of law,
- promote free debate on issues of National and Global concern and political interaction by the National Political Leaders.
Others to participate will include among others leaders of Civil Societies, Head of Diplomatic Missions, Multinational Organizations in Uganda, funding agencies, etc.
Training Session for District Public Monitor (PM) 9000 Dollars
At 9000 Dollars, you can sponsor a one week training session for 50 Public Monitors in a District. The Public Monitors shall be trained in
- human rights,
- governance,
- election monitoring and observation,
- anti corruption,
- Research,
- gender,
- development,
- civic education,
- community policing, etc.
This therefore will enable them to
- promote democracy and the rule of law in the district,
- contribute to the wellbeing of the community,
- act as focal persons of Public Opinions in seeking and disseminating public opinions,
- report human rights abuse and corrupt leaders,
- identifying areas which needs interventions of authorities,
- monitoring and implementation of Government-Donor funded projects, etc.
The PM will work directly with the community in a number of sectors. Our plan is to train at least 50 Public Monitors in a District. If funds are available we shall be able to train 50 Public Monitors in all districts of Uganda and surely they will be able to cause a change in Uganda.
